BREATHE & BREATHE AGAIN
At the beginning of this year, BREATHE came into being – a painting about a moment when breathing lost its rhythm.

Today, BREATHE AGAIN has joined it.

It begins where BREATHE ends. The moment of resurfacing. The first breath.

The sea – the place my heart longs for. The place where I can breathe freely again, where I am reminded, time and again, that everything has its own rhythm.

BREATHE AGAIN
I can breathe again.
Not all at once.
Not because everything has become easier.
The sea reminded me that everything
has its own rhythm.
Every wave returns.
Every breath finds its way.
With every breath, a little more trust.
I rise to the surface.

I breathe.
