Biography
Clémentine Daudier is a French abstract artist based in Munich, Germany.
Her work is shaped by a refined sensitivity to inner states, memory, and those emotional landscapes that often remain difficult to express in words.
Born in France in 1980, she left the country at the age of seven and spent much of her childhood at Tokeh Beach in Sierra Leone, before the civil war forced her family to leave. Since then, she has lived in Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, La Réunion, Hungary, and Germany. This life between places has deeply influenced her sense of belonging and initiated a profound inner search for grounding.
Daudier is a self-taught artist. For many years, she worked as a foreign language teacher, a profession rooted in human encounter, cultural openness, and communication. Alongside this path, painting gradually became an essential part of her life.
Over time, art became a quiet point of reference for her — a space in which perception can be ordered, tensions can be balanced, and a sense of inner equilibrium can emerge. This ongoing search continues to define her artistic journey.
Since 2021, her works have been shown in exhibitions, including in Munich and Madrid. She has participated in art fairs such as ArtMUC, and her works are held in private collections in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. In 2025, she was awarded one of the Fine Art Prizes at the international tARTget Art Prize and has been selected for the tARTget Art Prize 2026.

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.
Artist Statement
I began painting in order to find myself, and I chose abstract painting for its therapeutic power. By not depicting a concrete object or place in a figurative way, I am able to free myself from perfectionism and external expectations. I allow my intuition to guide the first layers on the canvas and open myself to the process of letting go.
This way of working places me in a state beyond time and place, similar to meditation.
Through successive layers of texture, materials, and colour, I explore the encounter of opposing elements — their complementarity, their tension, and the point of balance that emerges when they collide. Within this clash, I intervene with gold, referring to the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, in which broken objects are repaired with gold and their vulnerability is transformed into value.
This image can also be transferred to psychology. It is not perfection that makes us interesting and valuable, but our resilience — our strength despite difficulties and obstacles. Our humanity lies in our ability to adapt, grow, and evolve.
Metaphorically, I try to unite on the canvas the many facets of myself, the complexity of my personality with its opposites, contrasts, weaknesses, and strengths. I search for my own point of balance, a place where I can be relaxed and accepted — where I can simply be, neither more nor less.
It is this feeling of plenitude within chaos that I wish to share when people encounter my work. Behind the aesthetic surface lies the intention to accompany everyday life and to remind us that, even in the midst of unrest, a place of calm and inner peace remains possible.
