From Personal Transformation to a Distinctive Artistic Position

Andrea Kainer was born in 1987 in Schwaz and grew up in Fügen in the Zillertal, Austria. From an early age, she possessed a distinctly creative spirit, yet it was through an extraordinary personal journey that she ultimately discovered her true calling as an artist.

At the age of 28, Andrea reached a profound turning point in her life, marked by complete physical and emotional exhaustion. Intense professional challenges, personal losses, and sustained emotional pressure caused her to lose touch with herself – until painting became a way to rediscover her inner world and give it visible expression. From that moment on, she chose to dedicate herself fully to her artistic path.

During her creative process, Andrea loses all sense of space and time. She enters a meditative state that allows her to process the world around her and translate emotions into visual form on a deeper level. Her artistic practice is characterized by experimentation with different media and techniques. Fluid approaches – whether through resin or acrylic paint, including translucent layers – form an important part of her visual language, while structured mixed-media compositions lend her works additional depth, texture, and expressive power.

Each work is a unique creation, conceived with the intention of bringing energy, harmony, and inspiration into the spaces it inhabits – whether in private collections, residences, hotels, practices, or corporate environments.

Andrea Kainer’s work has gained recognition beyond Austria’s borders. Through international projects, including her collaboration with Keep A Breast Europe, she has continued to expand her artistic presence and reach.

In 2025, another important milestone followed with her participation in the 166th International Bodensee Art Auction at the Michael Zeller Auction House in Lindau, where her work was presented within an international auction environment.

In 2026, she took a further significant step with her participation in the 38th Lehner Art Auction in Vienna, strengthening her presence in the international auction market. Her works and auction activities are now also documented within the professional art market, providing an important foundation for the continued development and positioning of her artistic career.
