Artist Profile
Biography
Daniela Pfeifer was born in 1973 in Strasbourg, France, and today lives and works as a freelance artist in Imst, Tyrol. Since 1999, she has devoted herself intensively to painting, deepening her practice through numerous life-drawing courses and art seminars with renowned instructors. Her oeuvre is characterized by an ongoing exploration of color, form, and emotional expression.
Teaching
For several years, Daniela has shared her expertise as an instructor at a range of art academies and creative centers, including:
2024 | Kunstakademie Neustift (Brixen/Bressanone), Italy
2023 | Kunstfabrik Wien, Austria
2022 | Akademie der Bildenden Künste Wildkogel, Austria
2021 | Art Teams, Switzerland
2020 | Farbenlaube Dornbirn, Austria
She finds great fulfillment in guiding like-minded creatives, and the energy of her students continually inspires new developments in her own work.
Studio Practice
Daniela works from her private studio in Imst, where she experiments with diverse materials and environmental conditions—often allowing natural sunlight to influence the drying process of her primed canvases.
Publications
DANART – Painting & Design
In this volume, Daniela presents a selection of her recent paintings alongside her design projects. As Ivonne Glasenapp observes:
“The color palette is predominantly earthy—burnt umber, ochre, and sienna. The works form a powerful unity of environment and non-idealized figure, emanating harmony and tranquility. Rather than an outcry, they are rooted in the depths of our being—enduring and memorable. Her most recent, very minimalist pieces offer only the slightest reference to visible reality, yet they draw us—like a gentle pull—into our own inner imagination. This art lives.”
Tracing the Journey
“Traces that lie behind us and those yet to be discovered form a captivating path—one I eagerly explore. My artistic journey continually reveals new insights. Unconfined to a single space, the ground-layering of my paintings takes place in varied settings, with direct sunlight playing a crucial role in accelerating the drying process. Ultimately, each work is refined on the easel and receives its final touches. This book offers a glimpse into my practice and charts my personal quest.”

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.
