Brief Biography & Artistic Journey
After finishing high school, Eva initially chose a conventional career and worked as a foreign‑language secretary at her father’s company in Berlin. However, after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the dissolution of the company, she took the leap into the art world. In Munich, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts, first studying interior design before transferring to the “Painting and Grand Composition” class under Franz Bernhard Weisshaar. Her education was further enriched by a guest semester in interdisciplinary art/painting with Hermann Nitsch at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main.
Eva’s style— which she calls “Ethno‑Pop‑Art”—reflects her experiences with diverse cultures and social structures. In her current work, she focuses primarily on endangered indigenous peoples and animals at risk of extinction, forging a bridge from humanity’s origins to the present. Her vibrant, powerful, and energetic paintings carry a strong message: an appeal to preserve both cultures and individuals.
Eva’s work has earned international recognition, acquired by private and public collections, and exhibited in museums across the United States, Switzerland, and Germany. She now lives and works in Rottweil, the oldest city in Baden‑Württemberg.
Eva Bur am Orde: “My vision is to create a world in which peace, respect, and love for creation form the foundation of our coexistence. Through my art, I aim to carry this dream into people’s hearts and pave the way toward a peaceful, fulfilling, and sustainable world.”

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.

Artist Statement
Art as a Bridge Between Worlds
Illuminating Art: The Unique Ethno‑Pop Art Experience
In my work, I fuse the dynamic energy of Pop Art with profound ethnological themes drawn from my travels and spiritual connections. Each piece pays homage to the diversity and beauty of creation. Journeys to places like Morocco, Namibia, and Botswana have opened new perspectives and deepened my understanding of the world’s many cultures. These experiences flow into my art, creating works that transcend the obvious and forge deeper connections.
For me, the union of spirituality and art is essential. The practices of indigenous peoples, their ancestral rituals, and their belief in a Creator inspire me and are reflected in paintings that demand a deep respect for all creation.
My art is also rooted in a strong sense of social responsibility. I support charitable projects in South America and Africa by donating my works to raffles and sponsoring orphanages and workshops. These commitments stem from my conviction that art has the power to drive positive change and help those in need.
I strive to envision a world where peace, respect, and love for creation form the foundation of our coexistence. My vivid, high‑contrast motifs reflect the life worlds of indigenous peoples and their intimate bond with nature—sometimes fragile and vulnerable, sometimes strong and self‑assured—each telling of a profound longing for a universal ethic. Every painting is an appeal for peaceful coexistence and an invitation to reflect on the great issues of our time and to enter into dialogue.
