Brief Biography & Artistic Journey
Anna Marija Bulka, born in Poland in 1979, is an artist whose work goes beyond the conventional boundaries of painting, circulating between light, texture and form.
She holds a Master of Arts degree, specializing in painting, from the University of Cieszyn. She currently resides in England and operates her own art studio.
Her portfolio is a testament to ranging from three-dimensional abstract paintings featuring real objects to evocative portraits bathed in UV light and abstractions that challenge the viewer’s perception. This diversity is not merely a stylistic choice, but a reflection of Bulka’s belief in art as dialogue – a way to convey the complexity of human emotions and thoughts through the visual language of art.
Bulka’s work is deeply rooted in painting traditions, but she is constantly attracted by the possibilities offered by modern technologies and materials. This combination of history and modernity allows her art to come alive, engaging the viewer in a multi-sensory experience. Her abstract works serve as a private space for introspection, where the depth of color and form invites a personal journey of discovery and connection.
Her portraits, under the transforming glow of UV light, become dynamic expressions of identity and emotion, capturing the essence of her subjects in the spectrum of changing light. Similarly, her 3D works break free from the confines of the canvas, encouraging tactile exploration and deeper engagement with art.
In addition to painting, Bulka is passionate about artistic photography, a medium through which She combines the visual narratives of painting and photography. Inspired by her 3D artworks, her long exposure photographs depict otherworldly, cosmic scenes that invite the viewer to reflect on the vastness of the universe and the beauty of fleeting moments.
Global Visions | Anna Maria Bulka's Journey Through Art and Culture

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.
Artistic statement
Each piece is an exploration of depth, color, and form, inviting the viewer to engage with the artwork from multiple perspectives. My art reflects a commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional forms, creating immersive experiences that challenge perceptions and evoke emotional responses. Through these works, I convey the beauty and complexity of our world, capturing moments of harmony, resonance, and transformation.
Art is not just a visual experience but an emotional one. It evokes feelings of awe, wonder, and introspection. My pieces balance chaos and harmony, reflecting the duality of existence.
Ultimately, my art celebrates life's diversity and the enduring spirit of creativity. It invites viewers to pause, reflect, and find beauty in the unexpected. Art connects people beyond cultural and social differences, conveying positive emotions and beauty. It is a pure reflection of the nature and inner world of the artist.
Artistic Ambitions | Future Goals
My artistic ambitions are driven by a desire to continuously evolve and explore new dimensions in art. I aim to push the boundaries of traditional techniques, blending painting with sculpture to create immersive, multidimensional experiences.
My goals include expanding my reach through international exhibitions, collaborating with other galleries, and using my art to address social and environmental issues. Ultimately, I aspire to create works that inspire, provoke thought, and foster a deeper connection between people and the world around them.
