Brief Biography
Biography and Background
Born in Rheinland-Pfalz, Susanne Brandenburger initially took her first artistic steps under the guidance of the artist Paul in den Eicken and later moved to Bavaria, Munich, for a stage dance training.
Participation as an external member in a project by Professor Daniel Spoerri led her to study at the Academy of Fine Arts and graduate with a diploma in Applied Graphics under Gerhard Berger.
She received a scholarship from the State Ministry of Science and Art for a masterclass at the Salzburg Summer Academy under Professor Emilio Vedova.
This reinforced her already abstract, sensitively moving informal works.

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.

Artist Statement
Space, sound, and movement accompany her in all her contemplative, intuitive work as a freelance artist in Munich.
Each piece is a step deeper and later higher into direct sensitivity and the creative spirit. Occasionally, forms of learned or unlearned signs appear, which correspond with freely moving structures.
The color space also interacts with the painting lines, like a dance of the elements, in an attempt to create an expressive togetherness.
Currently, Susanne Brandenburger is again working with natural materials that remind of drawings of freely floating mobiles in the space.
The tactile nature of the elements, which form a life of their own, occupy space and give it back. This concept is a purposeful engagement for the artist in further contemplating our life worlds.
