'Metamorfosi' (Metamorphosis) is the portrait of an inner conflict that becomes transformation.

At the center of the work is a unique butterfly, half Monarch and half Morpho, embodying two opposing forces: programming and freedom. The Monarch carries the weight of code, the instinct written into DNA, the path already laid out. The Morpho carries the iridescence of blue, the lightness of one who chooses to fly beyond what is known.

Within her live the fear of daring, feelings of guilt, and the fear of not being accepted. It is a silent conflict that holds her back in mid-flight. Something within her must die for change to occur: involution.
Death is not the end. It is the ground; fear, the parts that die, and pain are not waste, but humus for something new that could not have grown before. Like an orchid in an empty skull.
Slowly she becomes a caterpillar again, returns to the root, and confronts the part of herself that holds her back.

From the chrysalis within the sphere of light, she is reborn. This time the wings are entirely Morpho. She is no longer divided. She has found herself again.

At the base, the jungle with its monkeys, the embryo, and the ancestral face recalls where everything begins: instinct, ancestors, the cycle of life and death. The face that emerges is no longer sadness, but contemplation. It is the one who witnesses the transformation that has taken place and recognizes it as its own.

The chromatic transition from the green of the earth to the gold of light, the dotted patterns, and the visible vibrations tell us that every metamorphosis is resonance: with fear, with symbolic death, and with rebirth.

Metamorphosis does not celebrate escape, but the return to oneself. The butterfly does not flee from programming: it passes through it, dies, and is reborn free.
