Join the Elite Circle Our Mission and Actions At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts. By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape. Artist Statement I believe art is a confrontation between life and aesthetics, embodying a continual struggle. Understanding art is a core aspect of an artist’s profession. In today's multipolar, multinational world, art and artistic objects blend seamlessly into everyday life. Since Marcel Duchamp's introduction of the ‘readymade’ in the 1940s, art objects are found effortlessly around us. However, transforming ordinary items like a spoon or a staple into art requires a creator endowed with boundless imagination—who sees, as Immanuel Kant put it, "not a dirt but a star in a pool." Anyone can acquire the technical skills to create a picture through diligent practice, but infusing work with a philosophical depth that captivates audiences for generations is rare. Today, art is defined as modern by its presence in galleries and online, rather than by its form or content. I do not categorize art into mainstream, underground, or classical; what matters to me is that an artwork resonates within the viewer's soul, making it eternally relevant. As an artist, I believe that slavishly following ephemeral trends does not confer modernity upon art. History shows us that civilization advances in cycles: everything new is merely a revisited version of the forgotten old, appearing on a new turn of civilization's spiral. The principle that one should learn and evolve throughout life resonates deeply with me. A talented individual must continuously discover and scale new heights. If one stops evolving, they will eventually have nothing new to express through their art. Currently, I am expanding my understanding of art's theoretical aspects to better integrate all facets of my creativity. Despite the drawbacks of academic education, I maintain that it is essential for every artist. However, an artist should not expect an academy to teach them how to create masterpieces. Throughout their life, a talented individual must navigate a challenging and sometimes painful path marked by external events and self-discovery. An artist crafts their own worldview, aligning it with universal laws. My creative process is straightforward and lacks intricate stages. It begins with an image in my mind, often inspired by films, plays, or conversations. Although some believe my work is based on literature, this is a misconception. The envisioned image persists in my imagination until it is realized on canvas or paper. Despite my busy schedule, the urge to create is relentless, and I make time to bring these ideas to life. After conceiving a picture, I internally refine all its details, decide on the technique and style, and develop the compositional concept. I occasionally sketch out ideas, but often, a detailed mental image allows for quicker and more efficient execution. Some of my works are spontaneous, where I begin painting immediately without premeditation. When creating, I do not concern myself with whether my work will be liked or purchased; I revel in the process and the realization of my ideas. I do not have a specific admirer in mind for my works; I believe there is something in them for everyone. This revision aims to maintain the essence of your original statement while improving readability and coherence. Personal Statement The loss of my father in a tragic way has shaken and changed me in my being. In order to process my grief, I created an alter ego in the form of a fighter figure that stands for my higher self. It is reflective and made of an indestructible material. This figure stands for resurrection and strength. I want to give strength to myself and all those out there who have to cope with adversity.
