Brief Biography | Artistic Background
Katja Lührs is a German artist whose work bridges oil painting and digital art, creating a distinctive and vibrant visual language. Her motifs are shaped by a lifelong fascination with the natural forms and rhythms of the world—flowers, leaves, plays of light, and atmospheric transitions that have inspired her since childhood. Her artistic triad Wonder – World – Nature encapsulates this vision and forms the core of her creative practice.
Guided by the motto “Save the Earth,” she connects art with awareness: revealing beauty means taking responsibility. Each painting is an invitation not only to admire nature, but to protect it.
Alongside her artistic career, Katja Lührs works as a presenter for major TV networks such as ZDF, ARD, RTL, SAT.1, and ORF. Under her label Katja Lührs Design, she creates fashion and jewelry collections, and as an author she has published the books Viva Veggie and Smoothie Fit.
Her artworks have been exhibited internationally - in Munich, Basel, London, Amsterdam, Palma, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, as well as at the Venice Biennale.
She has earned significant recognition in the competitive art world, including the Museum of the Americas Award 2024, being a two-time ITSLiquid Artist of the Year, and receiving the Global Art Virtuoso Award, the Harmony for Humanity Prize, multiple international collector awards, and three ARTBOX World Awards. Her work has appeared on numerous magazine covers, including Hidden Talents, ArtProfil, Artist Journey, Spotlight Circle, and Curator Art Magazine.
With her artistic vision, public presence, and clear message, Katja Lührs is among those contemporary artists who successfully unite aesthetics with responsibility—making a powerful contribution to today’s art landscape.

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.

Artist Statement
Since childhood, the colors and shapes of flowers, trees, and leaves have inspired me deeply. The sun’s power—its interplay of light and shadow—creates a world filled with grace, vitality, confidence, peace, and serenity.
Through painting, I preserve these natural wonders. Because what we love, we protect.
That is why my guiding principle is: “Save the Earth.”
