Our Mission and Actions

At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.

By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.

Artistic Concept

Zlöbl’s signature style, "Swinging Lines," was developed in July 2018 during a study abroad stint in Minnesota, sponsored by the city of Salzburg. Her work is influenced by the Pow Wow traditions of the Sioux and Cheyenne, the melodious sounds of the piano and theremin, and the breathtaking vistas of the Midwest USA. Additionally, her work incorporates elements from various Greek and Roman philosophical themes, notably the concept of "eternal return," which she finds both enigmatic and mythical.

In her paintings, Zlöbl employs reduced lines and primary colors to portray diverse life situations, emphasizing the canvas as her preferred medium. She primarily uses acrylic paints and ink to evoke a sense of buoyancy and the essence of lightness. Her creative process is heavily influenced by her emotions, drawing inspiration from nature, daily experiences, and the poignant moments of her life.

Artist Statement

"My art is a testament to the potential of combining creativity with sustainability. Each piece is crafted not only to be visually striking but also to carry a deeper message about the importance of environmental protection and sustainable living. In times of pressing ecological challenges, my work aims to heighten awareness and inspire positive change."

Visions and Goals

Zlöbl's vision is to achieve international recognition and to exhibit her works at major global art events such as the Venice Biennale and Art Basel in Basel and Miami. Her goal is to resonate globally through her art, conveying universal themes of life and human existence with her distinctive "Swinging Lines" style. She aspires to see her works not only in prestigious galleries and museums but also in private collections and public spaces worldwide. Through her art, Zlöbl aims to bridge cultural divides and inspire viewers to recognize and cherish the beauty and lightness of being in their own lives.
